Notice of Postponement of 2020 FFI-V State Championships

Following email sent 18-March-2020 to FFI-V members

The Mornington Yacht Club have today (18^th March 2020) advised cancellation of the FFI-V State Championships scheduled for this month as copied below.

Regretfully in the light of the current Covid19 crisis, Mornington Yacht Club will no longer be conducting the ff15 State Championships this month. I am sure you will not be surprised by this decision; we are living in unusual times.
We at MYC will certainly look at hosting the championships when the dust settles next season.

The FFI-V Committee will meet next week to consider options including but not limited to rescheduling to early next season.

The FFI-V 2020 AGM will also need to be rescheduled to a later date and options for how and when this can be done will also be considered by the committee next week.

A separate email will follow this to the 16 FFI-V members who had already entered the above cancelled State Championships in regard to refunding of Entry Fees.

Subsequent FFI-V Committee Meetings have agreed to put future events planning on hold until there is a greater confidence in knowing when sailing regattas events will be allowed.
